Muslim countries need to devise a common strategy against the rising trend of Islamophobia, Pakistani President Arif Alvi said on Sunday.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad marking Nowruz, the Persian New Year, Alvi stated that the world can learn a lot from Pakistan as it had a great deal of experience from dealing with the menace of terrorism.
Arif’s speech comes as New Zealand recovers from an attack by a white supremacist on a mosque in Christchurch that left 50 Muslims dead and many others wounded.
