The former PKK-affiliate said PKK was tricking Ezidis to believe that the PKK was at war with Daesh, but that that was not actually the reality of it.

An Ezidi terrorist who was within the ranks of the Kurdistan Worker’s Party (PKK) in the Sinjar district of Mosul in Iraq for close to 2.5 years confessed that the PKK held secret meetings and coordınated attacks with Daesh.

The name of the Ezidi terrorist, who came from a well-known family in Sinjar, cannot be disclosed for security reasons.

The PKK is not at war with Daesh

He said during his time in the PKK’s ranks that he slowly started to realize that the PKK was tricking Ezidis to believe that the PKK was at war with Daesh, but that that was not actually the reality of it.

"The PKK has requested that Daesh withdraw from some of the territories in order to satisfy the Ezidi Kurds. In this way, they tried to give the image of fighting, against Daesh," he said.

The Ezidi terrorist, who witnessed top secret talks between the PKK and Daesh, said, "Daesh terrorists came to military camps in Sinjar wearing the clothes of the PKK people several times."

The former PKK-member added that once the PKK and Daesh realized that he knew about their arrangements, they threatened to kill him.

"The senior officials of the PKK did not deny their ties to Daesh, they wanted me to remain silent.”

"The PKK was constantly trying to keep its relations with Iran secret. Only the top executives of the PKK were talking to Iranian military officials. "

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States.

The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
