As the Turkish operation in Syria’s Afrin draws nearer, panic has rattled the ranks of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)’s Syrian offshoot, the PYD, which occupies the northwestern border region, prompting the terror organization to summon Daesh fighters to the frontline.

As the operation looms ever closer every day, the Qandil-based PKK’s so-called commander Mahmoud Berhudan gave orders to his terrorists over the past months to be “on full-alert,” instructing the terror organization to booby-trap the first line of fire and entry points of Turkish tanks from the border.

The PKK also deployed Arabs who were forced to take up arms by the terror organization to the frontline as battle-hardened PKK terrorists were assigned to the second line of defense and given orders by Afrin commanders to “shoot those who abandon their positions on the frontline.”

Another plan put in place by PKK terrorists is to move missiles and mortar artilleries to the regions of Bulbul and Rajo, in order to strike civilian locations in the city of Afrin, in order to accuse the Turkish Army of ‘carrying out massacres against civilians’ aimed at inciting global public opinion against the operation.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan vowed to purge terrorism across its border Syria as the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) on Saturday pounded positions belonging to the PKK/PYD in the northwestern region of Afrin.

“In the upcoming days, we are going to continue in Afrin the operation that we started with the Euphrates Shield to cleanse our southern border from terrorists,” he said.

Daesh fights alongside PKK terrorists

As the PKK experiences a shortage of fighters prior to the Turkish army operation, the terror organization has resorted to importing terrorists from other groups, including Daesh, who is now fighting alongside the PKK, after it was used as a pretext for U.S. intervention in Syria.

Over 400 Daesh terrorists were summoned from Raqqa and Deir Ezzor to fight alongside the PKK, 120 of which have donned PYD uniforms as they pledge to fight for the terror group.

Some Daesh terrorists, which were brought to the region by the U.S.-PKK alliance, were sent to the regions of Deir Ballout and Qalaat Samaan to be used as suicide bombers against advancing Turkish tanks.

Hospitals evacuated

As fear of the upcoming Turkish Army operation rattles the ranks of PKK terrorists in Afrin, two hospitals in the city centers were preemptively evacuated.

Over 60 patients who were receiving treatment in the evacuated hospitals were relegated to make room for terrorists that may be injured in the front.

Additionally, PKK terrorists decided to set up four individual field hospitals in anticipation of the upcoming attack.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
