Upon the completion of the operation in Al-Bab, the Turkish Armed Forces and Free Syrian Army (FSA) will target Manbij in order to free the city from PYD occupation.

A commander from the FSA has said that the plan of attack for Manbij is ready and that they would enter the city no more than 10 days after completing the operation in Al-Bab.

Unity against terrorism

“The resistance of Daesh in Al-Bab is mainly because the Euphrates Shield operation will be directed towards PYD-occupied Tel Abyad and Manbij," said the FSA commander.

The main reason behind providing the PKK/PYD with anti-aircraft weapons is to support the PYD in Manbij and Tel Abayd, commented the commander.

“Daesh doesn't have planes. The anti-aircraft weapons are aimed at obstructing Turkey's air support once we advance from Al-Bab," said the opposition commander, who clearly stated that they would not give up on Al-Bab or Manbij.

Daesh is spreading false propaganda

Seized Daesh terrorists have shared that Daesh is spreading propaganda that the Turkish Armed Forces and FSA alliance is made to look like a partnership between the PYD, the U.S. and Iran. Such false accusations are spread amongst Daesh terrorists as well as the public in Daesh occupied areas.

In order to force children over the age of 11 to fight, Daesh falsely tells the public in their occupied areas that the Turkish Armed Forces and FSA alliance will kill all males and seize women and young girls.

Army of 2,500 soldiers is ready to take Manbij

The Turkish Armed Forces and FSA alliance has an army of 2,500 soldiers to fight for Manbij on land. FSA commanders have stated that Al-Bab plays a critical role in the future of the region, and upon taking control of Al-Bab, advances will continue.

FSA commanders have declared that upon taking control of Al-Bab, they will advance 35 kilometers to free Manbij from PYD occupation within a maximum of 10 days.

Daesh activity is being monitored

The FSA has said that 13 villages to the South of Jarabulus were freed from PYD occupation in three days.

“The only security the PYD has is that the U.S. will provide air support, but it is not certain as to whether or not this will happen," said a FSA commander.

Daesh activity in the Al-Bab city center and its surrounding is being monitored from the air.

It has been observed that Daesh militants must go to certain check points while using wireless radios for communication, and have been trying various camouflage methods.
