Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) have neutralized four Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorists in air strikes in northern Iraq on Saturday, according to reports.

A drone strike has targeted the northern Iraqi region of Ora, neutralizing four PKK terrorists.

They were discovered in the course of the ongoing operation against PKK terrorists in the southeastern Turkish province of Hakkari, where the neutralized terrorists were planning to carry out an attack.

‘Four terrorists neutralized in Çukurca’

According to a statement by the Hakkari Governorate, four additional terrorists were neutralized in a drone strike targeting the Çukurca district of Çığlı, in the province of Hakkari.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States.

The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
