Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said on Friday that Turkey-led counter terror operations in northern Syria and the ongoing operation in Mosul had been talked about with US-led international coalition.

Speaking to media after his ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party's annual camp meeting, PM Yıldırm said that Turkey is continuing its operation in northern Syria, which is dubbed Euphrates Shield, until the territory west of Euphrates is completely cleared of terrorists.

While answering a question over the presence of PYD / YPG terrorists in Manbij and Tel Rifat in northern Aleppo near the Turkish border, Yıldırım said that the U.S. had promised Ankara that the terror group would withdraw from these cities.

But they are still holding the positions, Yıldırım said, calling on Washington to fulfill its agreement.

He vowed that all terrorists, including Daesh and PYD/YPG/PKK will be targeted by Turkish military.

Operation Euphrates Shield, which began on Aug. 24 by the FSA backed by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), is aimed at bolstering border security, supporting coalition forces, and eliminating the threat posed by terror organizations, Daesh, and the PKK terror organization's Syrian wings of the PYD and YPG.

The Turkish Premier reiterated that the operation would continue until all elements of terrorist organizations are destroyed and Turkish borders are secured.
