Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) plan to create working and business groups to expand trade relations, announced Baku’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov on Wednesday.
According to a Twitter post by the minister, the eighth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, and Technical Cooperation between the Governments of Azerbaijan and the UAE began on Tuesday in Dubai, and is slated to last until Friday.
Following positive outcomes of the first day’s meetings, a protocol was signed.
“According to the protocol, appropriate measures will be taken to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields of economy, and working groups will be established to expand business contacts,” Jabbarov wrote.
