UK junior minister resigns in protest at May's Brexit deal

A junior minister in Prime Minister Theresa May's government has resigned in protest at the Conservative leader's deal to leave the European Union, The Telegraph reported on Friday.

Sam Gyimah, a junior minister for universities, science and research, said the plan was "not in the British national interest" and that voting for it would surrender "our voice, our vote and our veto", the newspaper reported.
