The outcome of the November 1 elections is the start of the new Golden Age. It is more than a political group coming to power; it is more than the preference of a political rhetoric by the overwhelming majority of the people. This outcome is the people taking control of a national issue.
A new destiny for the people and nation, the opening of a new century-long page, the start of a new history, like at the beginning of the 20th century, is the victory of that strong political mind raised by our country; it is the final decision of the foresight and vision of our people that is yards ahead of the intellectuals.
The protection and fortification of the last fortress in our region during the great storm in which the struggles for freedom received consecutive blows, countries were toppled one after the other, maps were changed, societies were disintegrated, is the millions of hands upholding the flag of independence and honor.
The perception of our people, the deep political background of this territory, the political leadership and state mindset we have witnessed for the first time since the foundation of the Republic, will complete Turkey's great walk.
The outcome of the November 1 election is too grand to fit into restrictive political analyses; it will go into history as the beginning of a great leap.
Turkey went through many trying tests before it could reach its current position. It struggled against numerous examples of grave betrayals aimed at stopping this great walk. It experienced outside intervention with the Gezi Park incidents and through terrorism. The objective was to stop Turkey and make it fall to its hands and knees. Those who had a role in this intervention will be noted in the betrayal page of history.
When this failed, the parallel organization was activated. The objective again was to stop Turkey. A conservative group that infiltrated the state was used for a completely foreign intelligence operation. Dec. 17 was an outside intervention aimed at Turkey. Stopping the great walk meant eliminating the leaders of the walk.
They are left alone, to dwell in their shame and betrayal.
They re-activated terrorism as their last resort. While the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) which was spoiled as a result of its democratic gain in the June 7 elections and in its own opinion was fighting for autonomy, the PKK attempted invasions in the eastern provinces of our country, the same powerhouses tried to use them to get Turkey to kneel and take over the country. But this operation was not merely the battle of those outside or the HDP and PKK. The greatest betrayal of all was the that of the “domestic invaders.”
Certain media and capital circles took shelter in PKK's bullets in an attempt to carry out a coup in Turkey. The suicide activist of this consortium was the Doğan group. They shot the last bullet with the PKK's guns. Even though they targeted the country's political leaders, they actually shot the last bullet into their own heads. The aim again was to stop, silence and take over Turkey and eliminate the country's “history-markers.”
They backpedaled as soon as they saw the results of the November 1 elections. They started to use a new method. They said, “We surrender, we obey.” This, in reality was conjunctural, it was a tactical maneuver. Nobody believed it and nobody will. Those who only yesterday cooperated with the PKK and attacked the leaders of this people, the integrity of the country, thought that this betrayal would be forgotten overnight.
They started to make calls to mercy and tolerance. After this point in time, there should be nobody left to believe this maneuver of those who lost their respect and loyalty to the people and country. Because nobody doubts that they are seeking new alliances from among those who they are asking for forgiveness.
All their plans are ruined, their wings broken and their bullets finished. We said to them, “Drop your weapons and surrender.” There is actually no need to wait for them to disarm. All the weapons in the possession of those who shot bullets at the country and the people must be confiscated and they should be detained without waiting for their surrender.
This victory relieved not only Turkey but the entire region. It shook both the East and West. At a time when they thought that deep political mind, which turned Turkey into a world-scale challenging country, started to become exhausted, a new leap was made that shocked them all.
This is the beginning of a new “Golden Age.” We made a great leap just as we were about to waste away with the Crusades. We entered a greater period of rise at a time we said we were finished with the Mongol invasion. We were broken to pieces with World War I, which we refer to as the third shock. We were patient for a century and tried to remain standing. And now the Third Golden Age is beginning.
Do not rest on your laurels. Do not be spoiled or give in to arrogance. Leave aside minor heartbreaks and personal plans. We need more solidarity and unity than in the past. A greater period of struggle is starting to keep this big spirit alive and achieve victory. The thing we call “ruthless resistance” is this nation's great history walk. This is the only cause remaining. This is the local country and regional struggle.
Leave aside the crumbs and scraps, do not even pay any attention to them. Don't waste time talking or arguing about them. Free yourself from your complexes aimed at them. Leave them with their evils. Do not give them value beyond their worth. We will never partner and make peace with those who shoot bullets at the country and want to stop this country and bring it down to its knees. With the exclusion of these two segments, together, we are going to start a new struggle.
Political power is going to overcome more boundaries. Economic growth is going to be more surprising. Social change and inclination is going to take a more powerful history-making role. The most powerful investment in this period is going to be for “cultural power.” This period is going to be one in which “intellectual terrorists” will run out of bullets.
A relentless war is going to be waged against terrorism which has now turned into an attempt at domestic invasion. The HDP will in no way be addressed. The İmralı show of HDP deputies will be brought to an end. Action will be taken with the reality that the HDP and PKK are the fronts of the international war waged against Turkey. New political parties, new representation mechanisms might be formed.
The war against the parallel organization of betrayal will continue unabatedly. Those who waged war against Turkey are going to be left alone even by the countries that backed them. The parallel organization is going to be considered a threat by the countries in which it has presence, too. They will be regarded as an internal threat not only for Turkey but also in countries they have presence.
The weapons of oligarchs of old that determined the government will be confiscated. These weapons will be silenced for good. Let us say that history for their assassinators in media as well is over.
A new era has begun and this is the transformation of history. Those who are unable to understand this great transformation will get lost on the way. For those who do understand, a period of bigger responsibility, sacrifice and struggle than before is beginning.
The biggest struggle on this path will be against disorder. So relax and join with enthusiasm. Be one of those who lay the foundations of the Third Golden Age.
