Are the US and Saudi Arabia going to divorce?

I believe the U.S.-Saudi Arabia relationship is one of the most important of bilateral relations that are as interesting as they are dirty and deep. This is because the reason the U.S. dollar is currently the world's most widespread reserve currency unit and the foundations of the existing global finance system are directly linked to the ties of these two countries. The petrodollar (recycling) system that replaced the Bretton Woods monetary system that was valid from after World War II until the early 1970s, came into effect with an agreement made between Saudi Arabia and the U.S. in the first half of the '70s and the hegemony of the U.S. dollar as well as the state of the U.S. being the country that rules the world that started post-World War II was strengthened as a result of this.
