Dr. Bandar Fahad al-Fehaid, the chairman of Arab Tourism Organization, said that Arab countries have begun making investments in the field of health tourism in Turkey.

“There has been a high demand and enthusiasm for investment from Arabic countries. They are eager to support tourism investments in Turkey as much as they can," al-Fehaid said. He was speaking at the 2nd Medical Thermal Tourism Forum held in Bursa, in northwest Turkey.

The chairman also said that the expenditure of Gulf countries on health tourism is more than $27 billion.

Al-Fehaid noted that Arab countries and Turkey have major assets for health tourism. “It is time for both sides to share their experiences."
