Eight people were detained early Wednesday in İstanbul after anti-police stormed a flat, believed to be belong to an illegal magazine.
The raid was supported by riot police, special operation forces and fire crews. Police said two women were among the detainees.
Police cut iron bars to enter the flat on the fourth floor of the building after climbing a ladder.
Police searched the flat seeking terror propaganda material.
A police helicopter hovered over the scene to help coordinate the operation which took place in the city's Sultangazi district.
Detainees were escorted to the police department for questioning.
