Attempts by the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) to protest the curfew have increased tension in the eastern province of Diyarbakır, where security forces have been trying to remove barricades set up by the PKK, destroy the booby traps and fill excavated ditches.
The party members declared that they will be on the streets to protest the curfew at 12:00 pm.
The declaration of the party has forced businesses to take precautions by closing down. Schools were closed in the Yenişehir, Bağlar and Kayapınar towns of Diyarbakır province.
The Diyarbakır Governorship has stated that the protest would be against the law because the group did not apply for permission.
Despite the warning of the governorship, HDP members gathered in the three towns.
In Yenişehir, masked protestors attacked police with stones and sticks.
In Bağlar town, two people were killed and two wounded during clashes between the supporters of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the security forces.
Another person, a dentist wounded in the gunfire, was taken to Dicle University Hospital.
The incident is still under investigation.
Thousands of people have left their homes because of the ongoing terror attacks.
PKK attacks the mosques, schools and ambulances as well as the police.
Residents of eastern Turkey cannot go to mosques and students cannot go to school due to the terror threat.
Because of the terror threat, only 20 percent of all students in these areas are able to attend school.
