Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is to attend the ceremony held in commemoration of the 30 police officers martyred in Saturday's Istanbul attacks . The ceremony will be held at the Istanbul Security Directorate.

Erdoğan postponed his scheduled visit to Kazakhstan following the terrorist attacks in Istanbul that left 38 people dead and 155 others wounded.

The 38 martyrs are reported to include 30 policemen, seven civilians while the identity of one body remains unknown.

There were two blasts 45 seconds apart, with one of them self-detonated by a suicide bomber in central Beşiktaş district's Maçka Park, and the other a car bomb that was detonated in a nearby street.

Parliament spokesman and Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş said the initial findings show that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists are behind the Istanbul attacks.

However no terrorist organization has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
