Erdoğan to visit four countries in a month

President Erdoğan will hold official talks in Jordan on Aug. 21, and in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and the U.S. in September

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay an official visit to Jordan on Aug. 21, 2017, upon the invitation of Jordan’s Hashemite King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein. The meetings during his visit will address the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the opportunities to enhance trade, and increase investments.

The visit will discuss the regional developments, particularly Palestine, as well as the boosting of cooperation and coordination as part of the efforts of Turkey and Jordan to maintain regional peace and stability, as the neighboring countries of Syria and Iraq.

President Erdoğan’s visit to Jordan has a special connotations as it is the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, which have deep historical, human and cultural ties.

President Erdoğan is also expected to visit Kazakhstan on Sept. 8-10, Azerbaijan on Sept. 10-11, and the United States on Sept. 19-25 for the United Nations General Assembly, which will be held in New York.
