Fatal plane crashes cause Turkey to suspend RF-4F warplanes

The Turkish Air Force's decision on Wednesday,March 11, that they would no longer continue to use the RF-4F warplanes, was brought on by the recent fatal plane crashes. As of Thursday, the Turkish Air Force would suspend using RF-4F warplanes.

A military aircraft of  the Turkish Air Force has crashed on March 5, in the central Turkish province of Konya. The two pilots reportedly on the F-4 jet were killed during a training exercise.

Meanwhile, two F-4 jets had crashed during a training exercise on Feb. 24 in central Malatya province's Akçadağ district, killing four pilots on board.
