The Israeli army carried out fresh attacks in southern Lebanon on Monday amid growing tension with Lebanese group Hezbollah.
Israeli artillery shelled the towns of Ayta ash-Shaab, Alma ash-Shaab and Naqoura, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency reported.
Israeli airstrikes were also reported in the border towns of Tyre Harfa, Maroun al-Ras, Naqoura, and Blat amid reports of damage to properties and infrastructure.
No reports were yet available about injuries.
Tensions have escalated along Lebanon's border with Israel since the Israeli army launched a deadly military offensive on the Gaza Strip that killed nearly 34,500 people following a Hamas attack on Oct. 7, 2023.
The clashes were the deadliest between the two sides since Israel and Hezbollah fought a full-scale war in 2006.
