A strong earthquake shook Turkey’s popular resort city of Bodrum in the western province of Muğla on Sunday, according to the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The magnitude 4.7 earthquake rattled the city located on the coast of the Aegean Sea.

According to initial estimates, no casualties or property damage were reported in the aftermath.

The Aegean region has been rocked by a wave of minor to medium earthquakes during the past two months, with no major damage reported in the aftermath.
