One soldier martyred and two other wounded during the clashes between the security forces and Kurdistan Workers' Party's (PKK) terrorists in the Cizre town of Şırnak province where a curfew entered its 30th day.
The wounded security forces were taken to Cizre State Hospital.
Security measures in eastern Turkey were ramped up to prevent any attacks targeting civilians in the regions where curfews were declared and operations conducted against the PKK.
Turkey has been fighting against the PKK to rescue cities from militants by declaring curfews and launching operations in the region.
The PKK – considered a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and the EU – resumed its armed campaign in late July.
