The outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which has over the past several months stepped up its terror acts in the southeast of the country, raided a wedding ceremony in Adana's Yüreğir district on Sunday night, leaving one civilian dead.

The attack came a day after Turkey was shaken by the deadliest bomb attack in its history, which claimed the lives of 97 civilians in capital Ankara on Saturday.

The PKK terrorist reportedly forced the wedding owner to cut the entertainment because of the attacks that took place in Ankara.

“Don't make a wedding today, stop this wedding," the terrorist told owners of the ceremony.

But the owner insisted to continue saying, “We have been preparing for this event for months and decided to have the ceremony today, we can't postpone it."

The angry militants opened random fire on civilians attending the wedding. Women and children dropped to the floor to avoid being hit and people used their bodies as shields to protect the children present. The attack left a keyboard player dead and two others injured.
