French police on Friday entered Paris' Sciences Po University to remove over 90 students occupying its buildings in protest of the institute's ties with Israeli Universities.

Shortly after 11.30 a.m. local time (0930GMT), officers entered the university to remove the students sitting in the lobby chanting slogans, such as "Israel assassin, Sciences-Po complicit."

A total of 91 students were removed from the premises, according to a police report, which said the intervention took place "peacefully" and "without incident."

Students of the Palestine Committee at Sciences Po voted to occupy the campus on Thursday evening and announced the launch of a peaceful sit-in in the hall of school.

"An official, non-anonymous vote was held in the board of the Institute for the Investigation of Partnerships with Israeli Universities”, Chaima, a student in Science-Po and member of the Palestine committee told Anadolu.

"We were pushed today by the police to force us off the campus. This is unacceptable because they want to repress our voices," she added.

Six members of the committee decided to start a hunger strike in solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, subject to nearly seven months of Israeli.

The French government is increasing its vigilance to control the actions on campuses in order to prevent the same scenario happening lately in the American universities.
