The statements of a military officer that was captured and arrested in the southern Turkish province of Hatay have revealed the horrible plan of occupying Turkey after the coup attempt of a group of FETÖ/PDY soldiers that was foiled by the strong will of the Turkish security forces and the nation.

As a part of the plan that was made during the meetings in Turkey's Incirlik Airbase, around a thousand secret agents of the Syrian Mukhabarat were to sneak into the country with help, along with the armed terrorists.

"The first target of the militias was İskenderun, which will be followed by other Turkish provinces, particularly Istanbul and Ankara, according to the arrested FETÖ soldier.

The FETÖ/PYD terrorist organization headed by Fetullah Gülen was to control the European part of Turkey, while the occupation forces were to attempt to control the remaining parts of the country.

An Iranian representative attended the meeting in which the coup decision was made, according to the captured military officer.

On July 15, rogue military elements attempted to overthrow Turkey's democratically elected government by force, which triggered violent incidents, leaving 246 people martyred.

However, the coup attempt was foiled as the Turkish nation along with security forces fought against the coup attempt, at many points, particularly in Istanbul and Ankara.
