Turkish armed forces have struck the Syrian Kurdish YPG terrorist group based in the south of Jarabulus, reports have said.
Turkish jet fighters and howitzers hit the People's Protection Units (YPG), currently deployed in the village of Amarna, close to Jarablus.
The strikes, aimed at PYD's armed wing, began at 9 a.m. earlier on Wednesday as the Operation Euphrates Shield entered its fourth day.
Explosions echoed in the region and were heard in Qarqamish village, just opposite of Jarabulus, a strategic town retaken by opposition groups fighting under the umbrella of the Free Syrian Army (FSA).
Meanwhile, the Sultan Murad Brigade, an opposition group included in the Turkish-coordinated offensive, said that the opposition forces, backed by Turkish mechanized units, have continued its eastward advance safely and entered the village of Tel Shair in Allepo province.
