Turkish Armed Forces: Reconnaissance activities have begun in Idlib

Turkish Armed Forces on Monday stated that the reconnaissance activities began on Oct. 8 in Syria’s Idlib.

The statement added that the Turkish military’s activities in the region continue in line with the rules of engagement which were agreed in Astana.

Turkey says it will provide assistance to Syrian opposition it has long backed, aiming to implement a de-escalation agreement designed to reduce conflict with pro-regime forces in the area.
