Arrest warrants have been issued for 48 PKK members, including Zübeyir Aydar and Remzi Kartal, chief Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists in Europe, Salih Muslim, the head of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) terrorist organization, and also senior PKK leaders Cemil Bayık, Murat Karayılan, Fehman Hüseyin, in relation to a terrorist attack in February 17, 2016 on Merasim Street in the capital, Ankara, aimed at military shuttle vehicles passing through the street.

Salih Muslim, so-called leader of the PYD, met Die Linke deputies on Nov. 10 in Germany's federal parliament, Bundestag. Muslim was to also reportedly give a speech in the House of Common of the U.K.

The PYD is affiliated with the YPG militia, which the United States is backing in the fight against Daesh in Syria.

NATO member Turkey has been angered by that support, since PYD is an extension of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
