The Turkish art gallery Sanatorium participates in the 17th edition of Art Dubai, with increased interest from art lovers, says officials on Friday.

Art Dubai is one of the most important fairs in the international art world and brings together artists from various countries. The fair will continue welcoming art lovers until March 3.

Ekin Bayraktaroglu is one of the representatives of the Sanatorium gallery and participated in the contemporary section of the event. She stated that they have been taking part in Art Dubai for a long time and expressed that there is great interest in their gallery.

Noting they represented three artists in this year's edition, she said: “We are showing the works of all three for the first time.”

“It attracts the attention of collectors and art lovers as they see works they have not seen before,” she stressed.

“Especially this year, the work of two Turkish artists, Yunus Emre Erdogan and Erol Eskici, attracted much attention,” Bayraktaroglu emphasized.

Pointing out that Dubai is a city that hosts people from all over the world, Bayraktaroglu said: “You can see a wide variety of colors in Art Dubai.”

She further underlined: “It is a fair that has maintained its standards. That's why we also care about it.”

“The interest here always satisfies us,” she added.

More than 120 galleries from 40 countries participated in the fair, which met with art lovers at Madinat Jumeirah.

The fair presents exciting new global perspectives in four sections, including contemporary, modern, Bawwaba, and digital, according to a statement on the organizer's website.

This year, the Zilberman Gallery and Sanatorium galleries from Türkiye are participating in the “contemporary” section.
