Turkish police have arrested one suspect allegedly linked to the terrorist PKK, a judicial source said Wednesday.

According to the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media, the suspect was arrested in Turkey's Aegean province of Izmir.

Gendarmerie units carried out the operation under an investigation by Izmir prosecutors in order to capture the suspect, believed to have spread terrorist propaganda online.

The suspect, identified as H.B., was arrested at his home in the Torbali district.

Forces also seized 36 compact discs, one memory stick, one laptop, two external drives, one video cassette, two cellphones, and one sim card as evidence.
