Turkish war planes have neutralized two outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) terrorists and destroyed one of their ammunition storages in an air strike conducted in the countryside of the southeastern province of Hakkari, the military's headquarters said.

The latest in a string of air strikes on PKK positions was carried out from 20:26 to 21:24 on Sept. 13, Tuesday, the military said in its statement released on its official site.

The jet fighters safely returned to their bases after successfully eliminating the terror targets, including a cave and facility storage.

Turkey, the EU and the U.S. regard the PKK as a terrorist organization. PKK called off a ceasefire they had been adhering to since 2013, and resumed attacks. The authorities have imposed curfews on parts of southeastern Turkey as part of its action against the PKK threat.
