A military operation in the southeastern Turkish city of Lice killed 10 members of the outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) terrorist organization, including two senior figures.

Security sources said the ongoing operations in Lice district's rural area, in the southeastern Turkish province of Diyarbakır, killed two top terrorists. One of them was on the list of terrorists most wanted by the Interior Ministry.

The top PKK figures killed are accused of planning the recent car bomb attacks in Dicle and Hani police stations.

The Sources said that security forces killed Ahmet Talva, regional representative of the PKK, who went by the nom de guerre “Çekdar.”

Meanwhile, Turkish fighter jets struck PKK targets in the rural area of Şemdinli district of Hakkari and Şırnak provinces and destroyed targets pre-determined by intelligence reports.
