Mark Cavendish, the British road-racing cyclist for Belgian team Omega Pharma-Quick Step, has won the fourth stage -- his third -- in the 50th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey.

Cavendish completed the 132 km-long circuit between the provinces of Fethiye and Marmaris on Wednesday in three hours, 14 minutes and 23 seconds.

Racing against 146 cyclists from 20 teams, Cavendish was followed by Argentine cyclist Ariel Richeze from Italian team Lampre-Merida, and Cavendish's Australian teammate Mark Renshaw, who completed the stage in third place.

Estonian cyclist Rein Taaramae from Cofidis Solutions Credits was first in individual standings.

Meanwhile, Great Britain's Adam Yates from Orica GreenEDGE team and Cofidis Solutions Credits' French cyclist Romain Hardy were following him.

The fifth stage of the tour will be held on Thursday in a 183km-track located between the Marmaris and Bodrum (Turgutreis) provinces of Mugla.
