French Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain on Friday agreed with London club Chelsea over Brazilian center-back David Luiz's move to France this summer, the clubs have announced.
British press report that PSG will be paying 50 million British pounds for David Luiz as a transfer fee, whereas French media say that Luiz's transfer fee will be valued at 50 million euros.
The 27-year-old started his professional career with Brazilian side Vitoria and was transferred to Portuguese giants Benfica in 2007. Four years later, English Premier League's Chelsea signed him for 25 million euros.
Luiz scored 15 goals in 143 matches for Chelsea. He has been capped for Brazil's national football team 33 times so far and is set to play in the World Cup, hosted by Brazil beginning next month.
