Turkey beats Sweden 2-1 in friendly

Turkey beat Sweden 2-1 at a friendly football match in southern Antalya province Thursday night as both teams prepare for the Euro 2016 finals in France.



Turkish forward Cenk Tosun scored the first goal of the match in the 32nd minute.



Sweden turned the tables around with an equalizer in the 74th minute, which was scored by defender Andreas Granqvist.



The third and winning goal came shortly thereafter in the 82nd minute, and was scored by Tosun.



In FIFA rankings, Turkey is 20th, while Sweden is 34th.



Turkey and Sweden will compete in Europe's top-tier international football tournament, the Euro 2016, in June in France.



Turkey will play against Croatia, the Czech Republic and Spain in Group D, while Sweden will compete against Belgium, Italy and the Republic of Ireland in Group E.
