The undersecretariat of Turkey's Defense Industry (SSM) said it will produce a new type of camouflage paint which will hide the whole body, with weapons and other equipment, from scanning devices.

In a release statement, the SSM announced to produce “personnel hiding paint,” an advanced form of camouflage paint, for the Turkish military. The paint will hide the whole body including moving weapons, systems and tactical tools.

The “Advanced Hiding Network” aims to hide military activities from ultra-violet, thermal or radar control systems, the statement said.

The defense undersecretariat also published a Request for Information of Personnel Hiding Technology and Implementation calling for applications from domestic companies willing to work with the project.

The Project aims to develop a high-tech paint that will hide the whole body after application to human skin.

New painting technology will be the latest development in the Turkish defense industry, as it has been working to become one of the world's leading defense industries.

Some of the country's defense firms including ASELSAN and ROKETSAN have already made significant developments in recent years.

Turkey now has its own drone technology along with domestic laser-guided missile systems, battle tanks, and attack helicopters.
