Turkish technology brand sells 10 million devices

A domestic computer producer in Turkey, which succeeded in becoming a global brand in the past two decades, says it sold over 10 million devices

Casper, the national brand of computer, tablet and mobile devices in Turkey, announced plans to increase its yearly sale of 1 million devices as it sold 10 million in previous years.



In 2015, the company sold 815,000 devices. The Turkish domestic technology producer has become a global brand in the past 25 years by selling 10 million of devices.



The company was established in 1991 by three fresh university graduates in Istanbul, and now has one of the biggest plants in Europe and the Middle East. The production factory, on the area of 34,5000 square meters, has the capacity to produce more the 5,000 computers a day.



Casper's marketing director, Feray Karaman, said that Casper presented many technological innovations to its customers in the past 25 years.



“First rotating tablet computer, four-core processor laptop, super silent technology desktop computer, touch ultrabook are some of the technological innovations we brought to our customers," Karaman said.



“We also brought first 8-core speed smart phone Casper Via V8 and the slimmest smart phone Via V10 model to the sector. We are one of the brands that moved to Windows 10 very quickly," she added.
