Photographs of the “human rights activists” wearing the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorist organization’s uniform were revealed.
They promote the PKK-affiliated Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Europe and the United States, trying to gain the support of politicians and nongovernmental organizations. These terrorists, who are invited to nongovernmental organization events to make speeches and attempt to glorify the terrorist organization by joining live broadcasts on international news channels to create the perception that PKK fights against Daesh, are no different from PKK terrorists when in Syria.
Amongst these names is Steve Kerr, who was dismissed for drug use during his duty in the British army, and jailed for attempting to rob a bank with friends. Kerr went live on the British channel Sky News, and spoke on the humanitarian crisis in Syria. However, he joined conflict in PKK uniform, and was even injured. After his treatment, he wasted no time in returning to the front.
British Macer Gifford, giving speeches in programs, and lectures at universities in many European countries, is another armed terrorist of the PKK, exactly like Kerr. Gifford is the representative of European terrorists. At times, he also goes live on Sky News. Gifford ensures that medical equipment is delivered to PKK terrorists. He is also the executive director of the Friends of Rojava Foundation, which was established with the support of the United States.
Italian Davide Grasso is amongst hundreds of westerners who clash on the PKK front. Actively participating in the PKK’s plan to occupy Manbij with U.S. fighter jets and military equipment aid, Grasso turned back to Europe and started “civil” conferences after the PKK occupied Manbij. Grasso, who spreads PKK propaganda in his speeches at the conferences of many nongovernmental organizations, is also supported by student groups at universities.
Western terrorists, clashing in Syria under PKK’s roof, often go abroad, and travel in Europe without any problem. Collecting money for PKK and propagating the terrorist organization, the European terrorists face no difficulties, and this situation blatantly reveals Europe’s support of terrorism.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States.
The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
