The Palestine Media Forum's second conference is to be held in the Turkish province of Istanbul on May 18-19. The conference is meant to begin a dialogue on various media issues related to the Palestinian cause and provide an opportunity and attempt to form a true image of the Palestinian cause in Arab and international media.

The two-day long conference will also discuss the most effective and successful methods and means of achieving an objective and fair portrayal of the Palestinian cause in various media outlets and creative programs.

The conference program consists of several forums for senior Arab and international journalists that address the priorities of Palestinian media, information resources and how to confront Zionist myths in the media.

The program will also include specialized meetings covering various media fields and a number of media workshops on topics such as data journalism, Israeli propaganda in digital media and implications of media discourse.

The conference will be attended by journalists, writers, heads of newspapers, radio and television stations, correspondents, photographers, artists and directors as well as prominent intellectuals and figures from the media and academic fields from many countries.

International journalists as Imad Musa, Ramzy Baroud, Rafael Targino, Jaber al-Harami along with Arlene Clemesha, Angeles Espinosa and Abdellah abo-awad are among the speakers of the conference.

The first conference of the forum was also held in Istanbul in 2014.
