Jarabulus, a city in the Aleppo province in Syria, has become a shelter for a large number of people fleeing from the Kurdistan Workers' Party-affiliated Democratic Union Party (PKK/PYD) to the Free Syrian Army (FSA)-held town, after Daesh terrorists were swept from the town by the Euphrates Shield operation, which was initiated by the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) in northern Syria.

FSA soldiers delivered civilian clothing to the people, who were armed and forced to wear uniforms by the terrorists.

The victims of the PKK/PYD said that they were forced to fight with PKK/PYD over threats of the terrorist organization.

"In the PKK/PYD held areas, the terrorists force every family to send at least one person to join the fight and kill the ones who don't obey their rules," they said.

One of the PKK/PYD victims, who secretly escaped the terrorist organization after understanding that they will fight against FSA instead of Daesh in al-Bab, said, "They attempted to convince us that we would fight against Daesh, however we discovered that they were lying."

PKK/PYD was also against Islam and were mistreating those who performed prayer," they said.

More residents have returned to their hometown of Jarabulus after uprooting Daesh terrorists with the Euphrates Shield operation.

When the town was captured by Daesh terrorists, the population of the town decreased to 3,500; however, this figure is rapidly increasing.
