The Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) has found weapons and ammunitions concealed in a truck, loaded with plastic materials, en route to Afrin, Syria, which is controlled by the Syrian Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

Opposition fighters stopped a suspicious truck in a checkpoint near Azaz, which was taken in a joint operation of FSA and Turkey in Operation Euphrates Shield recently, on Friday.

While, after the search, thousands of Kalashnikovs, heavy machine guns, bullets and plenty of grenades, found in false bottoms, were seized by the FSA, and the driver was apprehended.

PYD's ruse in cooperation with arms dealers is revealed

The Democratic Union Party or PYD, the Syrian branch of the PKK terrorist organization, is largely supplied with weapons and ammunition by illegal arms dealer and smugglers in the besieged Afrin town of Syria.

Dealers disguised as the opposition, regrating weapons from FSA's different fractions by offering high prices, dispatch the ammunition to Afrin via Turkish aid trucks.

Turkish aid trucks are reportedly unloaded at specific points in the opposition-held region to distribute the aid materials. Then smugglers stop the vehicles and load them with weapons to be sent to PYD-held Afrin.

Yeni Şafak previously announced that some collaborators on the opposition's side supplied PYD with ammunitions.

The FSA has launched investigations; as such incidents have become widespread.
