Right-wing populist and Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders says he will “de-Islamise" the Netherlands and deny immigrants entry once he wins the upcoming elections.

Wilders has outlined an 11-point discriminatory program titled “Netherlands is ours again" expanding on how he would achieve his goals, which contradict the Dutch constitutional right to freedom of religion.

The unconstitutional plan proposes to ban “Islamic headscarves" and prohibit all “Islamic expressions which violate public order."

Wilder's plan also proposes to shut down all mosques and Islamic schools, ban the Quran and halt immigration from “Islamic countries."

The lawmaker reiterated his views during a rare interview with the WNL broadcaster, saying that he would take away mosques' licenses and ban the Quran from being sold.

The controversial politician compared the Quran to Hitler's autobiography

Mein Kampf

and likened Islam to Nazism.

“Islamic ideology may be even more dangerous than national socialism," he said in a television interview on Sunday.

Wilders went on to compare mosques with “Nazi temples".

“I am sure that if there were Nazi temples in the Netherlands, there would be an uproar if this was allowed. Believe me, Islamic ideology is possibly more dangerous," said Wilders.

"We want to make our own Netherlands, to close our borders and to keep all that money that we give to the foreigners. There is billions to Africa for development, to Brussels, to Greece, to asylum seekers in the Netherlands. We will stop that and give all that money to the Dutch people living in the Netherlands."

The Dutch lawmaker was banned from the UK in 2009 on public security grounds after his film “Fitna" branded the Quran a “fascist book."

Wilders is the founder and leader of the Party for Freedom and has taken the lead in Dutch polls. Other parties have vowed not to work with him in a coalition, even if he wins the election.
