Terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)’s Syrian offshoot, the PYD, have returned to the Western Euphrates city of Manbij after they fled on Sunday following anti-PKK protests that erupted across the city.

The returning weapon-clad PKK/PYD terrorists, who arrived from the city of Hasakah overnight, re-entered the city in a show of force.

The PKK/PYD terrorists brought a group of 50 people from outside the city that shouted anti-Turkey slogans, blaming it for the hardships experienced by Manbij residents.

They also threatened residents that blood will be shed in case protests continued as any dissent will be met with live rounds.

Some PKK supporters also looted shops that closed down as part of a general strike against the continued occupation of Manbij by PKK/PYD terrorists.

Hundreds of civilians in Syria's northern Manbij city have protested the killing of two young people by the PKK/PYD terrorist organization on Saturday.

Hannan Al-Jarivah, 25, and Abbud Al-Minkhan, 23, were tortured to death by PKK/PYD terrorists on Friday.

The bodies of the two young men, with one’s head cut off, were found in a village some 20 kilometers (12 miles) east of Manbij.

Tension escalated into a gun battle between the PKK/PYD terrorists and angry civilians after families of the two victims recognized the bodies of their children after activists shared their photos on social media.

Hundreds of people took to the streets of the city following the weekly Friday prayer to demonstrate the killings, amid calls for PKK/PYD to immediately leave the city.

The PKK is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the European Union and the United States. The PKK has been conducting armed violence in the southeastern part of Turkey since 1984. More than 40,000 people, mostly civilians, have been killed in the three-decade long conflict.
