Twenty-seven more Daesh terrorists were killed and 122 targets destroyed in al-Bab on the 181st day of Turkey's Operation Euphrates Shield
At least 27 Daesh terrorists were neutralized in northern Syria as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield, according to the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF).
In addition, 122 Daesh targets, including the terrorist group's shelters, headquarters, defense positions and vehicles, were hit during the operation in which Turkey is supporting Free Syrian Army (FSA) ground forces against Daesh, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement on Monday.
The military said 229 residential areas and 1,910 square kilometers of land had been secured in the operation so far.
Operation Euphrates Shield, led by Turkey in support of FSA forces with artillery and jets, was launched to eliminate the terror threat along the Turkish border and improve security.
The Turkish military said that it is conducting the operation amid high security measures to avoid any civilian casualties.
