Speaking at an iftar fast-breaking meal in Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Turkey would continue to support Qatar. Referring to the Qatar crisis, Erdoğan referred to the Baqara verse in the Qur'an and recited the verse, “How many a small community has overcome a large community by permission of Allah.” [Qur'an 2:249]
