Avrupa Konseyi Parlamenter Meclisi Denetim Komisyonu, Ukrayna, Rusya, Moldova ve Azerbaycan'a ait raporları görüşmek üzere Antalya'da toplandı. Sheraton Otel'de düzenlenen toplantının ardından açıklamalarda bulunan Komisyon Üyesi AK Parti Antalya Milletvekili Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu bölgenin tanıtımına katkı sağlaması için üye olduğu komisyonların kentte toplanmasına çalıştığını söyledi. Çavuşoğlu, Türkiye'nin AB üyeliğiyle ilgili bir soru üzerine, "17 Aralık Zirvesi'nde AB kriteri olmayan şeyler masaya konulduğunda nasıl kalkmasını bildiysek, Türkiye'nin aleyhine KKTC'nin aleyhine bir şey olursa, kabul etmemesini biliriz, masadan kalkmasını biliriz" dedi. Toplantıya AP'den de 43 milletvekilinin yanısıra AK Parti Milletvekilleri İbrahim Özal, Bekir Bozdağ ve CHP Milletvekili Gülsün Bilgehan katıldı.
