Meclis, 22. Dönem 4. Yasama yılına bugün başlıyor. Üç aylık yaz tatilinden dönen milletvekilleri, bakım-onarım çalışmaları nedeniyle Meclis'i şantiye halinde görünce şaşırdılar. TBMM Genel Kurulu saat 15:00'de Meclis Başkanı Bülent Arınç'ın başkanlığında toplanacak. Arınç'ın kısa açılış konuşmasından sonra Cumhurbaşkanı Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Genel Kurula hitap edecek. Akşam ise Meclis Başkanı Arınç, milletvekillerine resepsiyon verecek. Temmuz ayında tatile giren milletvekilleri, seçim bölgelerindeki çalışmalarını tamamlayarak Ankara'ya döndüler. Milletvekilleri, Meclis kampüsünde yapılan tadilat ve bakım-onarım çalışmalarının devam ettiğini görünce şaşırdılar ve bakım-onarım çalışmasının Meclis'in açılışına yetiştirilmemesini eleştirdiler.
