İlköğretim öğrencilerine ücretsiz verilecek ders kitaplarının okullara dağıtımının yüzde 90 oranında tamamlandığı bildirildi. Her sınıf için ayrı ayrı hazırlanan poşetlerin içinde ders kitapları ve çalışma kitapları ile Başbakan Tayyip Erdoğan ve Milli Eğitim Bakanı Hüseyin Çelik'in mesajının yer aldığı metin bulunuyor. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Yayımlar Dairesi Başkanı Şadi Keskin, tüm öğrencilerin, okulların açılacağı 12 Eylül'de kitaplarını sıralarının üstünde bulacağını bildirdi. Ders kitaplarının dağıtımının planlanan sürede gerçekleştirildiğini kaydeden Keskin, 11 milyon 500 bin ilköğretim öğrencisine 105 milyon 760 bin kitap dağıtılacağını belirtti. Ücretsiz ders kitabı dağıtımının ilköğretim öğrencilerine yönelik olduğunu anımsatan Keskin, "Lise kitaplarına da bu yıl zam yapmadık. Lise öğrencilerimiz kitaplarını geçen yılın fiyatlarından alabilecekler" dedi.
