Japon elektronik firması Fujitsu'nun geliştirdiği "Enon" isimli robot, ofiste, dükkanda veya yolda insanların yardımına koşacak, sorunlarını çözecek. Firma yetkilileri, ses algılayabilen, kamera ve sensörlerle donatılmış robotun, toplum içinde özellikle yaşı ilerlemiş kişilere yardımı doku-nabileceğini ifade ediyorlar. Kasım ayında Japonya'da 54,000-44,000 dolar fiyatla piyasaya sürülmesi düşünülen 130 santimetre boyundaki robot, 10 komutu algılayabiliyor, yarım kilogram ağırlığındaki eşyaları kaldırabiliyor, yüklenen programlarla yönünü bulabiliyor. Robot pazarının, 2010 yılında 907 milyon dolar olacağını öngören Fujitsu yetkililer, robotun seri üretimine geçilmesiyle fiyatının 18,000 dolara çe-kilebileceğini söylediler. Fujitsu firması müdürü Tokuichi Shishido, "Bu tür robotların nüfusların azaldığı toplumlarda insanlara yararlı olacağını umuyoruz" dedi. Robotun tanıtımı esnasında gazetecilere dönen Enon, bir bayan sesiyle "Merhaba. Fujitsu'ya hoşgeldiniz. Ben Enon. Sizler gazeteci misiniz?" diye sordu.
